One of my first books after becoming a believer was The Cross and Switchblade by David Wilkerson and it remains one of my favourites to this today. If any of you haven’t read it, it is a must.

Anyway in time when preachers of “peace, peace” (when there’s is no peace) are a dime a dozen David Wilkerson gave this sermon. (click on the link) http://thewordistrue.com/?p=21. It is confronting and challenging and something we all should take heed of. Be great if some of you posted your comments on the article.

I’ve always had a deep respect for Derek Prince and owe so much to him for how he has brought many biblical principles to life in his sermons and books. Great Book!

I’ve always been a bit afraid of thick books as it reminds me of my schools days, so I was very happy to pick up a short 70 page book for a quick read. It might have been few in pages, but there’s a wonderful message inside. David Pawson explores what gospel the apostles preached to unbelievers compared to what “gospel” is preached in many churches today. Anyway I won’t spoil the findings, but I have the book for anyone who wants to read it. Just ask me at church or send me an email. Happy reading..Gum

Congratulations to Matt, Adelaide and Alex on the arrival of their new boy Finlay (3.6kgs), born today at 12:16pm! Matt writes that it was a very quick and smooth delivery and that both Ads and the baby are doing very well. God heard our prayers and Matt was able to attend it the whole thing.
